If you care for your privacy, make sure to always delete /var/lib/zypp/AnonymousUniqueId before using any of the package management tools (YaST2, zypper).

I got strong hints that detailed statistics, not only about how many installations are out there but about e.g. what repositories are added to a specific installation etc are made. It of course depends on your level of paranoia if you think that this is problematic.
